OnStar Winner Chose To Give It To Her Father!
OnStar held the “Push On” Sweepstakes from March 15th, 2011 to May 31st, 2011. “The ‘Push On” sweepstakes is our way to remind drivers with OnStar in their vehicles, just how powerful the system is, yet so easy to use,” said Sam Mancuso, OnStar chief marketing officer. “Just push a button and you’re connected.” OnStar wanted drivers to make use of this service, focusing on what they want to deliver, making driving easier and safer.
The national campaign launched and ten lucky winners will be randomly selected, depending on where the lucky finalists are, depends on what dealer the vehicle comes from. Your vehicle could of come from Sarasota Chevrolet. OnStar did make note that you do not have to have the OnStar service, just have to have press the button on your vehicle that is equipped already. OnStar is letting the lucky winner choose from any Chevrolet, Buick, GMC or Cadillac vehicles. That is right, you had the choice of Chevrolet Corvette, Cadillac Escalade, Buick Lacrosse or the GMC Denali. You have the choice you just have to push to play the sweepstakes.
OnStar is a service with many benefits to make driving safe. One of their best services is the Automatic Crash response. The built in sensors will automatically alert an OnStar Advisor in the event of any type of collision. The OnStar Advisor will come on and ask if the driver needs any assistance. If the driver does not communicate back because they are unconscious or something has prevented them from speaking, the advisor knows exactly where the vehicle is with the GPS technology and inform the emergency personnel to the location.
One of the winners of the “Push On” Sweepstakes is out of Auburn, New York. Kim Clingerman was driving her new Chevrolet Cruze when she pushed the button and was amongst nearly three million people to push the OnStar button. She was one of the ten that was randomly selected to win the vehicle of her choice. The vehicle that she chose was a 2012 GMC Denali. Kim Clingerman, who proudly serves in the National Guard, does not intend to keep the truck that she luckily won. She is giving the truck to her father, Richard Clingerman, who drives a 1996 Chevrolet Silverado. He is a working man, tends to do activities during the winter. The truck will be used like his other truck. If it wasn’t for his daughter giving him a new truck, he would still be in the Silverado. He says he is not one to get new things, but Kim is giving this to her father for his 50th birthday. Happy Birthday.
